I’ve been working with FutureLink, a program in my county that helps close the opportunity gap in Montgomery County by linking first generation college students with internships. This year, I’m pleased to announce that 12PointFive has a fabulous new client relations intern: Alondra Colindres.

Here’s more about Alondra in her own words:

My name is Alondra Colindres. I’m originally from Honduras and currently a business major at Montgomery College and expect to graduate in Fall 2023. I plan to transfer to the University of Maryland and hope to get into the field of business consulting.  My interest in business started when I began working with my stepdad in his construction company. There was a need to do business marketing, so I developed the website, yard signs, business cards, and promotional shirts. I wrote the contracts for the clients and did customer service as well.  This experience helped me realize the importance of helping small businesses to grow through technical assistance. In my free time I like to paint with acrylic paint and workout at the gym or at home. Also, I am very active in my church I participate as a leader of the kids and youth.  I am very honored and excited to be part of 12Pointfive. I look forward to the opportunity to get more experience in this area and offering my skills in customers service.
